nl

Activiteiten : * spreekuur * behandeling * medicijnen * gezondheidszorg – voorlichting- training

The clinic in Kimasa, offers service to about 150 patients. Every Wednesday about 120 – 150 people attend the Community Hal, where the services is given. They visit the doctor; get their medicines and advice for their treatment.
We like do more on prevention than just giving medicines. We will organize the ‘health workers’ and organize training for them. We will select some families to support them to improve their environment and hygiene. The KisoBOKa Centra can facilitate this program and we like to work together with the District Health Officer.
In 2014 we will investigate the possibilities to build a permanent clinic. We realize that people cannot wait till Wednesday when they are suffering and need medical assistance. A permanent clinic will reduce sickness and can give support to a more healthy community.
The purpose is: the people of Kimasa are offered basic medical care, sickness will be reduced, the death (of children) will be reduced and 100 visitors each week get treatment (5000 a year).
