MOBIELE COMPUTER SCHOOL

nl

We started the Mobile Computer School (MCS) in 2009 and more than 200 youngsters got there certificate. This certificate not only gave them access to the ‘modern’ world, but for many it was decisive in finding a job or further education.
The course will be offered to St. Matia Mulumba Polytechnic, Balidhabene (catering institute) and to youngsters from Kimasa. We will investigate to offer the course also to Soweto community.
Most of the courses are now at St. Matia Mulumba, but we count that we can remove some of the curses to the new KisoBOKa Centre.
To make the course independent and sustainable we started a (commercial) course in town.
The purpose of the course is promoting the use of information technology by providing affordable computer training to young people. We offer the course to 40 students of St. Matia, 40 students of Kimasa Community, 12 students of Balidhabene and 40 commercial students.
