Vorige week is het KisoBOKa Voetbaltoernooi van start gegaan. In de komende weken strijden de teams ieder weekend om de fel begeerde beker en de mooie prijzen.
Aan het toernooi nemen 6 heren-teams deel en 4 dames-teams, allemaal afkomstig uit de sloppenwijken rond Jinja.
Het ligt in de bedoeling het toernooi af te sluiten voor of op de officiële opening van het KisoBOka Centrum in Makenke. De prijsuitreiking zal in ieder geval die dag (20 Augustus) plaats vinden door de Ambassadeur van Nederland in Uganda.
Het toernooi vindt voor de 6de keer plaats en geniet veel waardering bij de lokale bevolking, die in grote getale de wedstrijden bezoeken.
Het KisoBOKa toernooi wordt dit jaar gesponsord door Advies – en Bewegingscentrum Maassen uit Boxmeer.

Last week the KisoBOKa football tournament started. In the coming weeks, the teams compete every weekend for the coveted cup and great prizes.
At the tournament, are six men’s teams and four women’s teams, all from the slums of Jinja.
It is close to or at the official opening of the KisoBOKa Centre in Makenke that the tournament will finish. The awards ceremony will take in any case be on that day (20 August) by the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Uganda.
The tournament takes place for the 6th time and enjoys much appreciated by the locals, who visit the games in large numbers.
